"It's a nice and cute board game café. There is little ramp inside by front door so there is no step. There is one toilet which has some access facilities, such as its being a large room with a grab bar and emergency cord. There many games to choose from. Staff are friendly and are happy to recommend games. There is quite vast menu, quite a few vegan options."
"An amazing experience tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Liverpool, S&D has called out to me throughout the lockdown period and I'm glad I've finally had the opportunity to check it out - it certainly did not disappoint! Immediately greeted by Rachel, the owner of the business and all-round star, we were shown to a table, given menus detailing their range of drinks (hot, cold and alcoholic options all available) and freshly baked goods (the chocolate-orange brownies are to die for!), and then given free reign over their incredible collection of board games. The board games themselves were all in a well-kept condition, far better than you'd expect for their constant public use, which is another example of the diligent care that Rachel and her team put into the business. We eased ourselves in with a game of Cluedo, followed by branching out and trying something new in the form of Geek Battle - both are highly recommended! Rachel also took time to talk us through her own recommendations, so we're booking in for the start of next month to give them a go - can't wait!!"
